For your personal Rice email account, you can manage vacation messages
and other settings at https://www.ricemail.rice.edu/
WebmailThis option allows you to read your Rice email using your web browser.WebFileThis option allows you to share files with other remote users without over burdening the email system with big file attachments or managing an FTP server. It allows you to upload a file and a list of recipients and it emails the URL to the file to each person so that they may download the file when they need it.We use SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption to protect the file you wish to transfer using this option, both when you upload the file and when the remote users download the file. Download your mail *This option allows you to download any of your mail folders from the mail cluster.Forward your mail *This option allows you to send your mail to another email address, return a vacation message to anyone who sends you mail, and enable filtering.Enable/Disable DSPAM *This option allows you enable or disable DSPAM Quarantining of your mail.Create a mail filter *This options allows you to create a mail filter to automatically move messages to alternate mail folders. You can move possible SPAM messages that have been tagged as bulk by the mail tagging system.Show current mailbox filter tags *This options allows you see how the mail in your INBOX is currently tagged. This will help you decide how you need to filter your mail.Show your mail quota *This options allows you see how much of your mail quota you are using.BL out-out *This options allows you opt out of the Black List service.Check a user's email addressThis options allows you see where email addresses at Rice are pointing.(This ability is only available to IT staff and administrators.) LogoffThis option logs you out of web tools if you are already logged in.[*] These services will only work if you receive your mail on the Rice Mail Cluster (Currently only Owlnet and RUF) |
